You’ll spend your time:

  • Within a team of 5 data scientists and data engineers.
  • Solving problems end to end by starting with the user problem, then working through the research and development stages and finally deploying to production.
  • Applying data science techniques like machine learning and NLP to user browsing and web content data on projects like demographic modelling, identifying brands, and predicting intent to buy over a passing interest.
  • Making sure we can do this on a lot of data. We have over 3.5B data points in our data store.
  • Working alongside other departments, from solving user problems with the design and product teams to the front end team building your feature into the product.
  • Gaining a deep understanding of our data and sourcing new data.
  • Working with our data pipelines to hook up new data sources and build your features into production.
  • Providing insight into our data for our clients and identifying opportunities to use data to add business value.

You should apply if you:

  • Want to work with large data sets, using technologies like Spark, Presto and robust data pipelines.

  • Have a degree in a numerical discipline (e.g. mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science).
  • Are competent in either Python or R.

Clicksco is a leader in the mining and manipulation of big data in the retail, finance and travel sectors, providing lead generation, web search, comparison shopping and affiliate marketing services. Carbon is an intent data management platform that understands online customer behaviour and intent to drive the most profitable outcomes. We process 150m+ monthly uniques and have over 3.5bn data points in our data store. We process and analyse this data using data science and machine learning algorithms to offer insights into online consumer needs, behaviours and intent. These can be actioned through the creation of customer cohorts and personalisation to drive intelligent customer acquisition.
