As data management platform (DMP) Carbon enters its 3rd year of operations, we’re delighted to have joined Digital Union, a major collective of creative, digital and tech businesses operating in the North East of England. Having been born in Teesside, Carbon’s passion for the North East tech scene is a perfect fit for Digital Union’s aims of putting the region in a leading position within the UK and globally.
Carbon has spent the last few years building out a 1st party data focused DMP and suite of innovative data activation & monetisation tools. Focusing on high quality, first party intent data, how it can be used & enriched we improve marketing outcomes for publishers and advertisers, whilst maintaining a great user experience. The aim is to promote data connoisseurship where everyone can understand the insights behind their data so they can measure the right things, manage data efficiently, and monetise it effectively & compliantly.
Being connoisseurs means we are truly innovative, hyper accurate and reliable with our data to ensure we are thought leaders in the space. Our dedicated data science team uses a range of AI & machine learning processes & algorithms to keep our tech – and our clients – at the bleeding edge of adtech.
For instance; we’ve hired a number of graduates from Teesside University as well as offering placements to nurture the next generation of talent. Similarly we’ve hired a number of talented Durham University alumni following successful collaboration on KTPs (Knowledge Transfer Partnerships).
As a DMP & monetisation platform focused primarily on ensuring digital publishers meet the challenges of generating revenue in a privacy-led, cookieless environment, Carbon is well placed as a data connoisseur with a history of performance publishing experience. Joining DigitalUnion allows use to strengthen our ties with the region further, whilst growing our global aspirations too, having already begun working with several large US publishers.
